reference to a user.id?

I was prompted for an id when there was a reference to an idfile in my config.txt

Username=%USERNAME%
Keyfilename=H:\user.id
...

In my situation the shortname is the username in windows.
When i removed the line starting with Keyfilename the id got picked up from the vault, even when i use a shortname
